Our newest build! “Margy” (named in honor of Henry Ford’s oldest sister Margaret) is the third in a series of Ford Model T screw jacks. The lamp base is made from 100+ year old reclaimed pine from the Tupelo Cotton Compress.
This is our first “BURTT POTTERY” lamp conversion and it turned out amazing! The Blue Globe is one of the best looking “drip glaze” pieces we’ve seen. Come check it out at our booth at RELICS!
HOTTY TODDY! HAIL STATE! Grab a lamp before it’s too late! These cool lamps are built around high quality, authentic 1/4 scale replica mini helmets. The handcrafted football shaped wooden bases are stained and sealed with multiple coats of polyurethane. The shades are color matched with maroon or red trim.
Peters Pottery 8.5″ Nutmeg Vase Lamps. This pair of Peters Pottery conversions have oil rubbed bronze hardware, brown/black cloth vintage style cord and Art Deco plugs.
Good things come in small packages! This Peters Pottery Carnation vase would make a great accent lamp for the hallway, book nook or any place that size is a limiting factor. The vase is mounted on a dark mahogany 4 leg base. The burlap shade along with LED bulb produce a warm glow that really sets off the copper socket shroud. The vase itself stands at 5-1/4″ with an overall built height of 12-1/2″
Captains Cabin Lantern – This lantern conversion consist of a single bulb fixture with a copper shrouded socket. LED spiral bulb produces just the right amount of warm glow. Can be used as a desk/nightstand lamp or hung by steel handle. Housing contains two glass panels on sides with a hinged cage door on front. The fixture stands 9″ tall with a base dimension of 6″ x 4″. Finishing touches include a black/brown cloth cord with inline switch and black Art Deco style plug.
Check out this groovy chunk glass lamp (also referred to as a Marsh Lamp) we recently performed a full restoration on. Metal housing was media blasted and new paint applied. A new cord, inline switch, socket and LED bulb was also added.
Here’s a unique lamp we recently completed. A vintage Kenmore Sun Lamp. This Mid Century Modern piece deserved more than the boring off white paint it left the factory with. All parts were media blasted and shot with a 1956 Thunderbird Green. An Edison style LED spiral bulb replaced the old 275 watt burner.
These don’t come up very often! This multicolored Lucite geometric accent light would be a great addition to any MCM collection!
Our latest project. These lamps pair perfectly with our side tables we recently restored. Mid Century Modern design with a touch of Contemporary style. The lanterns house a single LED bulb shrouded by 4 panels accented with a color matched antique brass finish diamond pattern. Lanterns are suspended from a 1/4″ steel arm that is attached to a 5/16″ steel triangular base. Each assembled lamp weighs in at just over 8 lbs! All hardware is color matched with an antique brass finish. Vintage style green/gold cloth covered lamp cord with an inline switch and Art Deco style plug complete the build. 24″ overall height.
“Henrietta” Accent Light This cast iron hen will make the perfect accent light in your kitchen or breakfast nook! Vintage style cloth covered lamp cord, Art Deco plug and inline switch. Overall dimensions are 9″ in length & 7″ tall.
“Iron Butterfly” Accent Lamp Found at an estate sale, this cast iron butterfly was displayed in one of the flower gardens located on the property. The light fixture conversion consists of a single vintage style LED bulb encased within the cast iron housing. Twisted brown cloth covered wire, with an Art Deco style plug, was chosen to compliment the warm tone of the cast iron. This piece would make the perfect accent light for a desk or shelf.
